  Had to negotiate with bar staff to take my food order 10 minutes before the kitchen opened. Then my quiche was dry and horrible - I left 3/4 of it.

  I walked in 9:30 after seeing a sign that said breakfast was served up till 10am. I asked the bartender if we could please order food, she did not greet me with a welcoming attitude at all, and her response was "order quick because the chef is technically off".
  My full English i paid £10 for came and it was was more like a half English breakfast. There was only half a TINY mushroom, one egg, one saussage, half a TINY tomato, half a slice of deep fried toast that was a mouthful of oil, a slither of black pudding, not to mention a thimble sized portion of baked beans. Definetly not coming back!

  Always very friendly and helpful. A great menu (especially Sunday roasts). They are dog friendly and very welcoming.
  
  The rooms are also really nice although a little pricey. I stayed here the night before my wedding and the staff were so lovely.
  
  Overall, one of the most relaxed and friendly places you could visit.
